Jayvee Girls Basketball team defeat Magna Vista and Tunstall High School

                                                    
      The Comets built a 9-5 lead after one quarter and extended it to 21-9 at halftime against Magna Vista. Halifax led 29-13 after three quarters and coasted home from there. Brianna Lindsey scored 15 points and a solid all around performance gave the Comets jayvee girls' basketball team a 38-23 win Tuesday at Magna Vista.
       Seven different players scored, Jamilia Smith with ten pointrs, Ashley Leachman with eight and Camey Reese and Jaynee Campbell finishing with seven points apiece.
Alex O'Neil and Brianna Lindsey had four points apiece.  Kendra Crews added a three pointer for the Comets.  Reese also added a three-pointer and a basket in the fourth quarter, as the jayvee basketball team cruised home to win against Tunstall High School.
